PICKING UP STARTER PACKS
We invite all runners of this year's Zagreb Advent Run to pick up their starter packs on December 6 and 7 (Friday and Saturday) at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel (Radnička cesta 21) from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
If you are collecting a package on behalf of someone else, please bring a copy of their ID or proof of paid registration. Club representatives must announce in advance if they plan to collect starter packs for their runners so that we can prepare them on time.
RACE DAY PARKING
- Public Transport Recommendation:
We recommend all runners and their supporters use public transportation to reach the event, as special traffic regulations will be in place. - Road Closures:
Radnička cesta (from Vukovarska to Držićeva), as well as Zoranićeva, Zahorova, Ivana Bunića Vučića, and Hektorovićeva streets, will be closed to all traffic from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. - Parking Options:
For those arriving by car, we suggest securing a parking spot early at the large Super Konzum parking lot (Ul. Grada Vukovara 275) or in nearby streets.
CHANGING ROOMS
- INDOOR:
Heated changing rooms will be available on race day on the 8th floor of the Hilton Garden Inn hotel. They will be open from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Volunteers will be stationed at the entrances, but runners are kindly asked not to leave valuables inside. Items are left at the owner’s risk, and the organizers will not be held responsible for any losses.
After 11:30 AM, the indoor changing rooms will close, and runners arriving later will be directed to the outdoor changing area (tent). - OUTDOOR:
An outdoor changing tent will be set up in the hotel parking lot, staffed to assist with item storage, similar to last year. Each runner will receive a unique wristband for reclaiming their belongings after the race.
The outdoor changing area will be open for item drop-off from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with pick-up available after the race.
ELEVATORS
Hotel elevators will be available for runners, but given the exceptionally large number of participants, we kindly ask for patience and understanding during potential congestion. We also recommend using the hotel stairs as a warm-up activity.
RESTROOMS
- On the 8th floor of the hotel
- On the hotel’s ground floor
- Portable toilets will be set up in the start/finish area (in the parking lot beside the hotel).
RACE START
The race will take place on December 8, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM. Runners will be grouped into three starting zones based on their chosen preference during registration:
- RED ZONE: Runners completing 5 km in 21 minutes or faster
- BLUE ZONE: Recreational runners
- GREEN ZONE: Families with children and pets
Runners will wear start numbers corresponding to their zone colors, ensuring proper placement at the start. Please arrive on time and take your position in your designated zone, which opens at 11:40 AM.
REFRESHMENTS
A refreshment station (water) will be set up near Jandrićeva Street (turnaround point for 10 km runners) and at the race finish line.
FINISH LINE & AFTER PARTY
After crossing the finish line, runners are kindly reminded to immediately collect their well-deserved medals. Please avoid lingering in the finish area before collecting your medal.
Following the race, join us at the AFTER PARTY featuring DJ Saša Šoštarić! Celebrate with family, friends, and fellow runners, await the official winner announcement, and enjoy the great atmosphere.

All participants who finish the race within the time limit will receive a finisher's medal.
